Open access means free, immediate and permanent access to academic research, with re-use rights. Open access publishing has become important in academic research as most research funders request it. In the future, open access will be part of research assessments.
Publishing open access is often a conscious choice of researchers as well. They want to be transparent and open. Open access publishing contributes to your Open Science practices, and in solving today’s societal burdens. This workshop provides a comprehensive introduction to open access (OA) publishing.

In this workshop you will learn about the context of the open access publishing (policies), types of open access, quality aspects and most importantly, you will receive many useful tips and tricks for Open Access publishing.
